Pump the hydraulic jack to bend the king pin scale. Then turn the wheel 90 degrees, and if the support, then open the valve on the jack and set wheel is unbalanced, pendulum indicator will show the protractor for centering. If it does not center, this unbalanced condition. Wheel balance is continue bending until it does. within limits if the pendulum indicator is within %" in or out from zero mark on the indicator scale.

To decrease king pin inclination, install the bending tools as shown in Fig. 187. Bending procedure is the same as when increasing king pin inclination.

Mount the wheel on the balancer and turn the wheel slowly until it is in a balancer position as indicated by the pendulum indicator lining up with the indicator scale. Fig. 188.
Place the adjusting rod on the arbor with the mark "1" directly in line with the mark on the end of the arbor. Raise or lower the counter weight until the pendulum indicator lines up with the inside pointer on the indicator scale. Figure 189. Remove the adjusting rod from the arbor.
Wheel is now ready for balance check. Turn the arbor. Mark tire with chalk directly under rod.
