Remove the roller bearings and spacers from the king pin support yoke, thoroughly cleaning openings. Fit the smallest diameter bushing (reamer guide) in the upper or lower king pin hole in the yoke. Ream king pin support using the special reamer shown in Fig. 199, using lard oil and turning reamer slowly.
To ream the other hole in the king pin support yoke, fit the larger bushing in the hole just reamed and repeat the reaming operations. Install over-size spacers and bearings. Install the knee-action unit and check for end play, which is a maximum of .006". If end play exceeds this figure, install shims.
